Potential visitors are planning their vacations, weddings, reunions, business trips and real estate searches well in advance. Your business and brochures will be knowledgeably referred by the Visitor Centre staff. You will be included in mail out and email lists and your brochure will be passed on in person.
Reach 1000’s of potential customers by being featured on the very popular South Cariboo area map! We enhance, update and produce over 20,000 copies which are distributed annually.
Get on our website! Our packages options offer links from our website to yours!
Gain year round representation at the South Cariboo Visitor Centre. We are not a seasonal operation.
Reach out-of-area markets through tradeshow representation. Enquire about our deluxe package! We attend a minimum of two tradeshows per year.
Your business will be listed in up to 3 product and service specific partner brochures that are showcased at the tradeshows, racked in the Visitor Centre and are often distributed at local events and in our relocation packages.
It does not cost a lot to join (a manageable annual fee, prices vary by package and options) and all the dollars collected through the program go straight into marketing and promoting the South Cariboo as a tourism destination. Remember…when visitors are in our Visitor Centre, they are captive listeners and we have the ability to influence their travel decisions on their way through the rest of the region and province!
Much like our Province benefits from the extensive tourism marketing Alberta does, out-of-area businesses receive a spin-off payback from the circle tours promoted in adjacent regions. The whole Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region and neighbouring tourism areas will benefit from travellers to the South Cariboo. Our Visitor Information Counsellors are very keen to make recommendations in other communities, when we know the next destination of the visitor. Whether tourists are continuing north, south, east or west, we have the opportunity to influence the balance of their vacation. Travellers are very appreciative to know that our Visitor Centre here in 100 Mile House is open year-round to provide assistance and advice. We know that travel and vacation plans go beyond the peak season, so we are here to answer inquiries, give referrals and make travel suggestions.
