E-Bike Rentals

All E-Bike rentals include complimentary helmet, lock, water bottle and cell phone holder. 

No, but to avoid disappointment please consider booking in advance. Our rental fleet is limited.  Complete your E-Bike rental form and email the completed form to  southcaribootourism@100milehouse.com  and phone the Visitor Centre 250-395-5353 to book your rental in advance.

Our E-Bikes are comfortable, step through frames with speeds up to 32 kms / hour and a battery life of 5 hours. Pedal assist will extend the battery life.  

Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of your tour departure so that you have time to sign a waiver form, process payment, be fitted for the bike and helmet. There will be a short orientation, so you are comfortable with the E-Bike.

Yes, you will need government ID for our liability waiver.  

Water bottle, comfortable closed toe shoes

All riders must be 16 or over for E-Bikes. 

Yes! It’s the law in British Columbia for everyone (adults included) to wear a helmet. Helmets are included with the rental, and you must wear it while riding. You may bring your own helmet but are responsible to make sure safety requirements are met.

Chariots and Trail-a-bikes cannot be attached to E-Bikes. 

E-Bike(s) cannot be transported in personal vehicles outside the District boundaries.

Our staff will provide a brief lesson before you leave to make sure you are comfortable.

Yes, you should be confident riding a regular bike before you make a reservation for an electric bike. You are welcome to take a bike for a short test ride to make sure you’re comfortable riding a bike before you book!

You are still welcome to ride.

Yes, the bikes need to be always secured with the provided lock, while unattended.  You are responsible for the E-Bike during your rental.  You will be provided with a map showing all bike rack locations in town.

If the battery dies, the bike will still work as a normal bike so you will be able to still get to the final destination.
